Annie Bowen is a Masters student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Sociology at Oklahoma State University. Her research interests include trauma and the impact it has on a student's education. She is also interested in resilience strategies utilized by trauma survivors. In a general sense, she researches inequality with a focus on the intersectionality of gender, sexuality and race. She is also new to Oklahoma and remains on the Kentucky Attorney General's Survivors Council as a trauma informed trainer and advocate. She is a partner and a mother of two wonderful energetic young children.
