Maggie Chamberlain is a second year Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the sociology department at Oklahoma State University. She obtained a bachelor of science and a master of arts degree in Sociology from Texas State University-San Marcos. While at Texas State, she developed an interest in quantitative methodologies and environmental sociology. More specifically, Miss Chamberlain is interested in the nature of environmental inequality in urban areas. Specializing in Environmental Sociology, Social Inequality, she plans to obtain a G.I.S Certificate while at Oklahoma State and hopes to use the skills gained during her graduate program to conduct environmental justice research in the future. Maggie also currently serves as the Sociology Graduate Student Association (SGSA) President.
