BIO

Michelle is a first year PhD student at OSU. She recently completed her Master’s degree at Middle Tennessee State University along with earning a Graduate Certificate in Women and Gender Studies. Her main research interests include gender, sexuality, inequality, along with crime and deviance. She has worked on projects focusing on the sex education of non-heterosexual young adults, media portrayal of same-sex couple intimate partner violence, and the recruitment, retention, and representation of women in STEM.
