We continue to be proud of our undergraduate and graduate students as they use the skills gained in our program to pursue careers in Sociology and a wide range of related occupations. We have had a lot of exciting changes. I write to you as the incom- ing Department Head. Dr. Sharon Bird leaves us this summer to join the faculty at West Virginia University as Director of the Cen- ter for Women’s and Gender Studies. After 50 years of service for Dr. Ken Kiser and almost 30 years of service for Dahlia Molloy, both will be leaving the department to pursue other adventures in retirement. We are grateful to them for their diligent service and will miss them as colleagues and friends. As OSU Sociology looks forward to the next academic year, I wel- come alumni to be in touch to tell us about your experiences, ac- complishments, and life transitions. It is always a pleasure to hear from you! Feel free to visit us on social media or on our website at https://sociology.okstate.edu/ . Best wishes for a wonderful summer! Tamara L. Mix Tamara L.
