BIO
Christine Thomas is a first-year Ph.D. student who is interested in Social Psychology, Social
Inequality, and Sociolinguistics. Her principal research interests concern suicide, substance
use, and mental health among underserved and hard-to-reach populations. She has most
recently completed a research project examining differences in suicidality among rural and
nonrural American Indian adolescents.
