BIO
Kevin earned his MS in Sociology from Oklahoma State University in 2013 and is currently pursuing a PhD in the Sociology department. His research interests include community responses to disaster and the role of ritual in various social settings. Current projects include investigations of the role of ritual in community and individual resilience, recovery, and identity throughout the disaster life cycle, ritual dynamics of polar expedition crews, persecution, and indigenous response to industrial development.
