If you were to ask Ashley what makes her curious, the answer is people. She began her undergraduate studies in psychology before engaging her passion for sociology and anthropology and graduating from the University of Northern Iowa. She has conducted original research on the use of positive psychological interventions on English language learners, household energy expenditures, and white collar environmental crime. Pursuing these research interests has allowed Ashley to present at international and regional conferences. While she works to complete her M.S. at Oklahoma State, Ashley plans to engage in new research in environmental justice.
